Globalisation has widened the process of sharing intellectual skills, discretion and ideas on a universal level, thus expanding the concepts of knowledge, culture and information. Literature is a window open onto the reality. In order tokeep unveiling the secrets of such reality, literature must be able to adapt its own tools of expression to the changing systems of communication produced by the dizzy transformations of the global society. The project of construction of a literary “open text” meets such needs, and is included in the recent debate upon the cooperation and the enhancement of knowledge on a globalscale.
