LUIGI DE ROSA LECTURE 2023

The 2023 Luigi De Rosa Lecture on Global History was delivered  on December 14, 5.00 pm,  by Manuela Mosca, Full professor of Economics, University of Salento.
The topic chosen was: "Women in Economics: their thought and actions in the past."
The event has been held at Palazzo Altieri, Sala Apoteosi di Romolo - Banca Finnat, Piazza del Gesù, 49
The Luigi De Rosa Lecture on Global History is a memorial lecture established in 2014 at the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the death of the founder of The Journal of European Economic History. The Lecture takes place in December every year at Palazzo Altieri, Rome.
Luigi De Rosa (2004) was one of the most authoritative economic historian of the XXth Century. His works on banking and finance renewed both contents and methodology of Economic History. He taught Economic History in many countries including Argentina, China, Spain, the United States. His bibliography includes more than 600 entries.
